Abstract Purpose: With rapid advancements in therapeutic options for patients with cystic fibrosis (CF), the median predicted survival has increased to 47 years along prevalence of non-pulmonary complications CF. Women CF suffer irregular menses, sexual dysfunction and low bone mineral density. increasing pregnancies among women CF, they may consider contraception. Estrogen supplementation modulate these outcomes others. The purpose this study was explore effects supplemental estrogen use on quality life (QOL) Methods: ages 16-50 were administered a validated CF-specific QOL survey (CFQ-R) during routine clinic visit through an IRB-approved cross-sectional study. domain scores subjects taking not compared pairwise by Kruskal Wallis tests overall Wilcoxon signed rank test.
